Paleo Pizza Crust

Pizza crust before baked
  • 1 1/4 cup flaxseed meal (can be found at Kroger or health food store)
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • a pinch of sea salt (optional)
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 2 T honey
  • 1 t basil
  • 2 t oregano
  • 1 t black pepper
  • 3 eggs (beaten first)
  • 3 T olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water (slowly add into mixture- you might not need it ALL)
Baked Crust pre-toppings
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Mix together all dry ingredients
  • beat eggs in a separate bowl then add to dry mixture
  • add in honey, olive oil and go slow pouring in the water, you don't want too get the dough too soupy!
  • press dough evenly in a pizza pan (or cookie sheet)
  • if it sticks to your hands wet them
  • bake for 15-20 minutes
This recipe is just for the crust- I suggest you bake the crust first- then add your sauce and toppings and bake again for another 10- 15 minutes! :)

  1. Made this!!! Yum!!!!!! Didn't have oregano so subbed fresh rosemary, basil, and mint! Still yum! Thanks for all your awesome ideas!!

  2. I'm so glad the crust worked out for you!It has a different taste than regular grain pizza crust but it still delicious! Have you tried the zuchinni brownies yet?

  3. It is a different taste but I kinda like it! I had to eat it with a fork though cause it wouldn't hold together when I'd pick it up! I don't think there's anyway around that, right? Also, I have not tried your zucchini brownies but I saw them and it's definitely on my list of things to try! I have so many things on here that I wanna try! I think I'm gonna do the "The "New" Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookie" next!! Yum!! Also, I wanna try your pumpkin roll!!! Thankfully, I have a bunch of paleo people around me that gobble all this stuff up really quick after I make it so I'm not sitting around eating a bunch of "treats"! haha!!
